Swinging Strike Three on a Hit By Pitch

Tim Tanner from Renville, MN asks:

When hit by a pitch on a swinging strike three, is the batter always automatically out regardless of how many outs there are or if there are any base runners?

Yes! No matter what the situation is elsewhere, if the batter swings at a pitch that hits them with two strikes then the ball is automatically dead and the batter is out via a strikeout.
