Head First at the Plate in High School

Question?

Mandy asks:

Playing with OHSAA rules are you allowed to slide head first into home plate or if you do is it an out?

I am not sure if it is against the rules but I can find no rule saying you can't do it. I believe that in my local Pony League you are allowed to slide head first into home plate but I am not certain about that.

However, your best bet would be to slide feet first because it is proven to be faster and it is safer.
