Steve from Iowa asks:
A batter hits the ball off the end of the bat and it bounces in fair territory half way between 3rd and home and is spinning foul. Prior to it landing in foul territory, the ball hits runner advancing home. The runner is on the foul side of the base line. What is the call?
As long as the ball has not touched anybody in fair territory and touches the runner while the ball is on or over foul territory before passing first or third, then it is a foul ball.
